Kakegawa city and my university have been working together on various collaborative projects related to art, with workshops and exhibitions. This Light Art Festival was one of them. Kakegawa is a city famous for its natural beauty, with mountains, sea, and tea plantations, so I wanted to create something with natural warmth, and an object inspired by the moonlight shining through the trees as my result.
